Hi all Need help with determining what kind of collets possible to use with this Perske spindle – DKNS1505/2. Should I reshape its shaft somehow? Have bought it on ebay and now scratching head… It is planned to be CNC router. mostly for wood and sometimes aluminum. I have not found any info about this model (not mach for others, newer models) and would very appreciate if someone tell or give link to relevant info – use, maintenance, bearings (type/number/how to change), etc.  |

| That's not a router spindle. It doesn't accept collets. Probably for some type of blade or special cutting head.

If you put a pulley on it. Now all you need to do is find a good candidate (which hopefully would come with collets). Oh, and a VFD to run it with (I've had good luck at Dealer's Electric: www.dealerselectric.com). Andrew Werby www.computersculpture.com |
