Need Help!- Kress and Isel router spindles

Hi,
I have take delivery of an Isel UFM1050 spindle along with a number of collets of various sizes. I bought the spindle and collets from the same supplier. The collets on the web site came under the heading of collets for Kress and Isel, from this and and information I had googled lead me to believe that Kress and Isel collets for the 1050 series are interchagable, however when these collets are placed in the UFM1050 collet nut (a tight fit) they close up and do not allow the shaft of the correct size cutter in. My question is does anybody know if the collet nut of the Kress FME1050 will fit onto the spindle of the UFM1050 (I am assuming that these collets are for a Kress) this would be a nice solution as Kress collets are easier to obtain (and are cheaper).

As I received no replies to my question I bought a Kress collet nut and no it does not fit the Isel spindle (greater OD).

I have just bought the same spindle motor and have the same problem, did you sort it or find a supplier that doesn't charge the earth.

No the only solution I found was to hold the Kress collets in a lathe with the correctly sized shaft inserted and then to hone down the diameter of the front angle.
