BT30 and R8 tools

I noticed that both R8 collets and BT30 have the same tapers.

Has anyone tried to use a BT30 tool holders in ann R8 spindle?

I know this is a dead thread, but, is there such a thing as an R8-ISO30 or MT3-ISO30 adaptor sleeve - i.e. one that goes into an R8 or MT3 spindle and takes an ISO30 holder?

As the OP said, the tapers are very similar dimensions, so it should be technically possible, if not the most rigid setup. I do know that you can get ISO30-MTx adaptors but I'm interested in the other way round.
