    Radial depth

    Hi The radial depth of cut should be less than 0.25 of the diameter of the end mill.What does that mean?

    If you are side milling the depth of cut should be no larger than 1/4 the diameter of the endmill you are using. Example: 1/2 inch endmill would be 1/8 depth of cut. Note that this does not mean in the z axis but in the x or y.
