What should I buy with 100 dollars?

    Hi,
I'm a student at university which just got two CNC machines. Right now the machines have no tools and I wanted opinions on what to buy.

The machines are a Haas Tl-1 (basic lathe) and Hass Tm-1 (basic mill)

Besides just end mills and lathe tools what other basic tools should I get? I have some dial calipers and a dial indicator already.

    Thanks in advance

How about a endmill holder. Here is one for $70. Glacern Machine Tools - Endmill Holders
After shipping you will have enough for a 12 pack.

Haha, right now I have no money for 12 packs, or even six packs of the cheapest stuff. I'm using all my cash up in various self funded hands on projects.

Quick question your suggestion. Why Glacern machine tools? One difficulty I've been having is choosing who to buy parts from. Some guys say their tooling lasts twice as long therefore should be twice as expensive. Other guys are saying you don't need expensive tools. All the marketing makes it hard to settle on some basic equipment. In suggesting it what criteria made you recommend their tool holder?

I have several products from Glacern tool. I have a hobby shop, and I have noticed several things:
There are many choices. I have chosen Glacern for my vices because of a few factors. Quality and value. Kurt vises are made in my home town, but they are a lot more than I would like to spend. Shars or grizzly vices are cheap, but I don’t want to wait(for grizzly), and I wanted something a little more of a guarantee of how accurate they are to company’s offer. I am not nocking shars by any means, others have had great luck with them.

I do have tool that are from grizzly, machine tool warehouse and shars, to name some. If you have limited funds, get what you need at the cheapest you can. You can always get something better latter.
