    Looking for insert alternatives

I have in my tool arsenal a Grizzly G2861 face mill http://www.grizzly.com/products/Face-Mill/G2861

I need some replacement inserts for it but not sure what type these would be called. I think it is time to upgrade so to speak and canning the tool seems silly if I can just find more job specific inserts. I cut 99% aluminum (6061) and would like to by a set of appropriate inserts for the application.

What am I looking for (trade name or terminology)? Specific recommendations even better. This will be going in a 1200 lb mill with a 1.5hp motor.

    Any help is appreciated.

Neither the Grizzly site nor you provide the details necessary to make specific recommendations. Here is a link to the Walter Valenite Catalog. It will help you identify your insert and provide insight to what you might want. And that all in the first 10 pages!
