    Cutting M.D.F...

Anybody know where I can get (within the U.K) a bit to cut 18mm M.D.F. I've tried 1, 2, 3 and 4 fluter bits inc. carbide and they all seem to burn, I've experimented with slower spindle speeds, and faster axis speeds with no joy . Is there a special bit I need like the acrylic cutters?

    Any help would be good!!

Any router bits made to cut wood should cut MDF just fine. If it's burning, you're still going much too slow. You probably need to at least double your feedrate.

What rpm and feedrate are you using?
