thread turning problems

please anybody help me as i am thread turning M 70*1.5 internal with vardex insert on lokesh machine with oi mate fanuc td model but not geeting better tool life

In my shop, we switched from one tool for threading to two tools.
(One for rough and one for finishing)
we noticed a tool life increase by a factor of about 2.3 on the roughing tool
and 4 on the finishing tool compared to the original one tool method.
