Pretty much sums it up. Your machine may need much more than just illegally turning on an option in the control. It may need a completely different spindle drive control and motor, among other things. |

| I could tell you, but then I'd have to kill you, and anyone you may have talked too. You know "company secrets," there was 2 differnet ways of turning options on the M2 series machines, the proper way is to PAY your distributor to turn it on in the MC-STRUCT page (using a special code). The cheating way is to turn it on is typing in a special access code in the PLC/IF page, then going to MAINT., S/W LIST, and look for the OPTIONS page, it requires a hexidecimal code on the Mitsubishi Option page, but if you enter the wrong code you'll turn your machine into a paperweight.
