I am looking to buy a mid to late 1980's Citizen or Star Swiss lathe (1 1/4). I need it for in-house blanking. I'm trying to find a bargin.

Check eBay - New & used electronics, cars, apparel, collectibles, sporting goods & more at low prices and also google/bing the machine you are looking for-you should be able to find many old machines-most have "old machine problems" as you know fyi if you buy without checking it out with professional help.

I don't know if it is a bargain or not, but it might suit your needs. It's been in my watch list for the last year and a half. Maybe they'll be willing to negotiate a bit...
