    SWISS VNC-32 Fanuc 10T

Problem Im having is I have a machine with a fanuc 10t controler and have no program examples to referance to. "No manuals." Im used to the star sr20-32 Programs but this is a differant configeration altogeather. If there is anyone on here at all that could answer a few questions about the machine and the controler I would be very grateful. Program Example of front working and back working tools would help greatly and set up procedure for tooling. I know this machine has geomerty offsets which I could use for any offset tooling for x and z axis is this true ? Didnt notice any wait codes either? Just a few answers to reasure myself would be great. Please respond if ya can help me out. Thanks Gary....

Would like to know if you use your geomerty offsets to store tool lengths ? Also do you have a copy of your 8900 program didnt see it in the controler ?

I can do you a copy but have you got all the 9000 series programs that it talks too ? the 8900 program can be a bit tricky filling in the variables as they all do something and without a manual you will never suss it out believe me . As for the geometry offsets Im a bit confused I have a tool presetter for the ctr height and diameters and then just use the ofsets to adjust from there ,I face a job off at zero then bring drills etc in and pull them out to touch the front at zero then when in use take back to Z-1mm before bringing in ,turning tools should be within a mm or so at zero so just ofset them when you can measure how much out they are if you havnt got a toolsetter leave the tool loose call up either M97 rear or M96 Front turret select tool number and send to bar diam then bring tool out to touch bar and tighten ,sorry if Im stating the obvious ,a little tip when you want to index another tool on the opposite turret just call the tool number with the ofset your already using and it will index ,if it would help I can copy a simple program and explain it better .

If you store your tool lengths in the geomerty page then when you offset them in the wear offset page you can see how much you have offset the tool exzactly at tool change or the end of the job. I belive to get to the page its OFFSET then SETTING On your screen.
