Hey Gang, we are having a level 1 swiss training class. If you are in the Anaheim, CA area and are working in manufacturing, you may qualify for this State funded program. Classes begin 9/5/11 and enrollement is limited. We will be teaching on a Star SR16, Fanuc controlled. If interested, shoot me a PM Cheers Mike |

are you planning any other classes in the future? I have been in the swiss repair field for over 20 years and went out on my own about three years ago, My son is very interested in what I do and has been working with me all summer and has shown a great deal of intrest in the programing side of things,so if there are any other classes that you are planning in the future I might be intrested in sending him. Thanks Daryl

Daryl: Yes, we will be having more classes specifically in swiss. I will post them in the future. This class (nights) was for manufacturing employees looking to upgrade their skills. We have classes during the day that include Swiss, CNC mill, CNC lathe, Mastercam, and Dimensional Metrology. We also provide training @ employers site. It would be a privilege to provide your son with a foundational education in manufacturing technology, an interest that we both share. Please let me know if I can assist you in any way. Cheers Mike

Thanks for your reply, he is already finishing a degree in mfg.tech. next semister, but the process of G,and M coding is not something that is taught at his school, I suppose that I am looking for a school or program that will teach him G&M coding,I understand that each machine is a little different but the G coding is similar throught out the industry. Thanks

I will post up before the next class. We have another night class starting next on 10/3/11: Printreading, math, measurement, & materials. This will help any intro people develop a strong foundation and are interested in taking any of our programming classes. These are actually the skills that most companies are requesting. Thanks
