    dnc from card

i'm trying to understand a star SR-20Rll swiss turn machine.

does anyone know if i can use M198 to DNC from memory card with head 2.

i got it to work with head 1 but get "data not found" error when trying to do the same thing with head 2.

is there special formatting different from head 1 or is it just not possible

As far as I know, you can't stream on Head 2. So if it's a big surfacing program and your using 21-24, then you'll have to turn up the stepover until you can get it into your control. If you are using 31-35 you could M40/M41/M82/M83 and stream everything to Head 1. Can't multi-task, but that's the best I can tell you.
