Star VNC-12 W/ Mate P

I have a star VNC-12 with a 3T control that also has a mate p box for the B axes. I had to clear all the parameters from it in order to get the machine to power up. I am able to power it up but don't have the parameters for it. As of right now I am not able to jog the B axes or drop it down. Also for some reason the machine won't move in any axes when it is in handle/step. Not sure if it is related or not. I am also interested in learning how to use the sub spindle to back slot or facing off parts. If any one can help me I would really appreciate it.
