Does anybody know off the top of their head if the guide bushing on a L5-20 Type 7 is driven independently or if it is driven by the main spindle motor? Is it the same on a L7-20 type 8??

Does anybody know off the top of their head if the guide bushing on a L5-20 Type 7 is driven independently or if it is driven by the main spindle motor? Is it the same on a L7-20 type 8??

It is driven like the L7's i.e. it has its own motor and is drive by a belt.
It basically uses the "spindle-sync" technology.
