    Infeed angle

    For threading on Citizen Swiss machinining centers, what is the best infeed angle to use? The book says 00,29,30,60,and 80 are all valid angle. Is one better than the rest?

    What kind of thread are you cutting?
    Those angles are for diff. threads.
    0 deg is for direct straight in or plunge
    29 deg is for acme thread...
    30 metric trapizoidal
    60 standard
    80 german pg
