Need training on Citizen L20

I am looking for somebody in the San Diego area who can train us or, at least, give us an idea of how to use our lathe efficiently and put us on the right path.

I am running an old Citizen L20, 5 axis, Mitsubishi Control, Iemca barloader. We have no previous experience with swiss lathes, so I am afraid that we are running it under wrong "parameters".

So far I've been blaming on the machine for most of the troubles I have, but perhaps I am not using the right inserts, coolant, stock material, feeds & speeds, turning strategies, etc.

Dear Everado,

When we purchased our first used Citizen, we had no idea how to operate it. We called our local dealer and they sent an applications engineer out to give us training. It cost us a few thousand dollars by the time we were done but when he left we were making parts $$$! We were so impressed with what we could do on them that we've since purchased 4 more machines.
