Sign writting prog's for plasma

Does anyone have a DXF sign writing/Lettering Fonts. Compatible with AutoCAD 2002 or Procut 5.0. Looking to cut some signs on the plasma. Any type of font would be much appreciated. Especially Stencil type.

Get yourself on line and buy an older version of CorelDraw (ver 12 sells for 49.00). Use your AutoCAD to draw brackets, machine parts and buildings. Use your CorelDraw program to import vector clipart (www.VectorArt.com), use any of 200 fonts (included) or any true type or type 1 font and easily weld, wrap or put in tabs (Stencil type). Once you have what you want export it (commercial plug coming!) using DXFTool (demo off my website)

Just because a tool is expensive does not mean it's best suited for every job. We have cut thousands of decorative plasma cuts (signs included) with Corel->DXFTools->SheetCAM->MACH3/ Total cost of ALL the listed is a tad over 400 bucks: about the price of a tank of gas these days

We have some free CorelDraw (CDR) plasma clipart on our CandCNCSupport Yahoo Forum (membership required) to try.

Plasma is by far the easiest thing to make a DXF file for, it's all 2D (X & Y).

I wrote a small program ( here )that will trace fonts & dingbats.

You could use my program, MSpaint, & wintopo, to create your DXF files for free (that's how I made all the files on my blog, www.myDXF.blogspot.com ).
