Welcome to the Group, you will find several opions on this subject... Best is to Try and get to a few demos of the Tables your are intrested in! Personally I have a Table from Precision Cutting Systems.. So far So Good.... Software is where I am finding most of the issues!

Hi I too have been looking at plasma machines for about 3 months, I finally decided to go with Plasma Route. Take a look at their site www.plasmaroute.com and call steve he can answer any question you might have, I think they have a great package from software to the actual table. I will be ordering a 4 x 8 plasma/ router combination machine.

Purchasing a commercial table from the hundreds of vendors is risky unless you can test your application on the machine. All the vendors claim their tables are faster than a speeding bullet LOL... For me I built my own table. If you are cutting thin material with short lines/arcs like art work test the table with that not just cutting a circle or a square. Visit a shop or two that is running the same brand as you are considering to check the pulse of the owners... Internet claims are cheap and easy so buyer beware always and good hunting... John

I just made a visit to the Plasma Route factory in Oklahoma and viewed my new 4x8 machine. I was asked to furnish a cut file for the demo and did. It cut perfectly!! I was really impressed and appreciate the fine workmanship of my new machine. It is being shipped to my shop here in Oregon and should arrive early this next week. Yes, I'm getting ready to have a lot of fun! I highly recommend Plasma Route for a quality machine. Steve is tops! Dennis
