| Hi everyone,I've been watching this site now for over a year,I found it after I decided to buy a cnc plasma. It sure helps to hear what everybody else thinks and has gone through.I ended up buying a 5 by 5 ez router/plasma machine. So far so good,I am at the point of firing up the plasma and making some cuts.I have a new Hypertherm 1000 with machine torch and was wondering if someone with the same machine would share some of their settings. Also I have the THC 1000 torch height control so if you had any settings for that would also be helpful. Thanks again everyone for all the insight and ideas.............CURLY |

| I have an ez-router also, great machine, hold decent tolerances and John at ez router has got good experience. GIve him a call. As far as the Hypertherm manual, starting reference only!!!!! I have run cnc machines for a long time, with a lot of programming background. Each pc. of material will can exhibit different result, it's really a matter of experimenting. Keep a log of the changes you make. Create recipes for different operations. You just have track what you are doing. Consumable wear plays into this also. Have fun!!!!!!!!!! Chip
