I’m planning on building the gantry for a 5ft x5ft Plasma cutter that will allow me to have an actual cutting width of 48 inches. I would like to make the gantry out of aluminum slotted bar like many of you have. Other than cost, what would you suggest? I plan on using flat linier bearings that will be mounted to the frame which will be 2x3 square stock. Thanks! I ‘m learning a lot reading and I’m almost ready to jump in and start building!  |
