Does anyone run the new controllers from ESAB for their plasma cutting?
I have few questions concerning the technology record options,
-dist. to end of line
-dist. after line
-THC after corner

I operate two Esab cutting machines, might be able to help,... but might have to be a bit more specific....

My guess would be you have to pay either by the Min. or a lump sum per year for tech help. However that is just a guess......

The Parameters you are looking at pertain to the firing of the Plasma Torch itself.
Distance to end of line.== Lets Say Your Cutting A Square. You've cut 3 sides, Now, How far before you reach your final points of the intersecting lines do you want to extinguish the Arc. (very handy if cutting Gauge Material)

Distance after line.== same Square scenario. If you are cutting say 1" material your arc is lagging the torch tip by a few degrees. Keeping the Arc ON after you've reached your intersecting lines will completely cut out the part. If the Arc Extinguished as soon as you cross that point you'd be left with a Tab.

THC after Corner. THC is you Torch Height Control.(by sampling the Arc Voltage we can determine the correct torch height based on a setpoint . Because we deccelerate and accelerate out of corners we have to Disable THC diring that time. This parameter allows you to tell the system when to reinitialize the THC function.
