Here are some pictures of a cabinet I am building for THC300. It turned out looking like a plasma cutter cabinet (wonder why). But it is ez to build and has a lot of room. Made from just 24 ga. paint lock sheetmetal, it is light and very sturdy. mike |

| That looks good. I know that is some fun, but tedious work. I sprung for the one already in its case. I built my first control box using aluminum and there I learned a valuable lesson. Don't sand blast aluminum sheets. After doing one side, it had the nicest convex shape. It did straighten back out near flat again when I blasted the other side.I had intended to powder coat, but wound up using a rattle can on the front panel and left the rest of the box natural mill finish. Don't bother using those Hammerite colors. They do look very nice, but they do not wear very well and are prone to chipping. I will keep an eye out for your progress.
