Hello,

I accidently found this forum and saw that a lot of people is trying to build his own machine. I congratulate all entrepreneurs and request experinces.

My history is I nearly finished my plasma cutting machine and I am planning to use it both plasma and oxygen-prophane.

My first desing is the manual control of torch height But I saw that it is very difficult during cutting and not suitable for human healt.

My question to all builders are; Does any one has build his own torch height control unit? Can he or she share the circuits with us.

And secondly I am now thinking to build it with auto house door sensors (photocell). Is it possible or suitable??
