the table alone was about $11,200, on top of that I had to build the table also. So far I'm happy with it, but then again I have nothing to compare it to.

I've made a bunch small parts for our product which is what I got it for in the first place, so far it's doing it's job.

I'll post some pix as soon as I get a chance too!

I would like to see a close up picture of an edge of one of the parts you cut.

I might be doing something wrong, but I find it near impossible to get a constant cut like that. I have done it, but it's hard. I usually get some light slag on the bottom.

Well, light slag is a common with plasma cutting, with most pieces dropping it on the concrete floor will remove most of it for us.

that's usually what I do (dropping them) or put them in a tumbler. what do you do when you get heavy slag? speed up, slow down, hotter, colder, more air, less air?

Usually has to do with cutting too slowly for that particular amperage setting, or possible the tip to work distance is too high, or that there is insufficient gas pressure.

We ideally want to be cutting at the correct amperage, correct speed, correct tip to work distance, and correct gas pressure. This will of course vary material to material, but you can use your machine torch guide if you have a Thermal Dynamics to give you some good starting points.
