| Don't mean to sound snippy but have a look around and do a search or two. There is a wealth of information here and several projects that have build logs and such to read through. I might also suggest building one of the smaller machines that use a dremel or trim router frist to get the ideas and process down. Then proceed to the larger model you are wanting. Most follow that path and use the first table to cut parts for the second. There are also a couple of folks selling or giving away plans. Steven |

You might like to decide what size & accuracy is required for the plasma cutting table you want to build. Other considerations are the type of drive system, bearings, guides or ways, motors and software etc. This link will take you to the build log for a machine I'm working on. http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showth...t=16634&page=1 There is a link to a set of free plans (by Mlaws1172) that you can download & print for use, or for more ideas. Also there are pictures of & links to pictures of machines others have built. Don't hesitate to ask more questions, as there are lots of other people willing to help. Soon you will be saying "I can build that" & you will! |
