plasma cutter with 100 percent duty cycle

want to cut up to 1/2 inch super clean (using machine torch)

at the moment we dont have 3 phase only single phase..

any suggestion? only one i found that has that cycle is esab.. isnt there more plasma out there with simlar cycle?


we plan to run this machine all day long eventually so need to make sure the duty cycle high number

Well what are you going to be cutting? If you buy a machine that's spec'd to do up to 3/4"@ 25% duty and you are only cutting sheet metal, it will probably be fine to run at or near 100.

yea.. well im planning on doing mostily 3/16 and 1/4 stuff.. but sometimes will do 1/2 inch stuff.. so im leaning toward to hypertherm 1250 model as i can use it for single phase instead of 3 phase which i dont have at the moment.. but was lookin at 1650 model it said its rated for 1/2 inch with machine torch.. which im assuming 100 percent duty cycle for that.. but it only will run on 3 phase only..

Yeah that damn 3 phase problem really sucks, I think it nags at us all.
