HI everyone As a novice, I just wanted to find out whether waterjet cutting is a costly process? We are interested in developing some small devices for research purposes and need to create a mould/template on steel using water jetting. We need around 3 channels to be cut into a small microscope slide sized sheet on steel. The channels need to be around 800microns wide and something like 30mm in length--it sounds pretty simple to me so I'm wondering if this is going to be costly to outsource? Any advice/comments would be appreciated  |
