I am not hearing back from the machine manufacturers tech support so I thought I'd put up a thread here. 4x8 water table Thermal Dynamics A80 MP3000 DTHC Mach Steppers Gecko drives The Z drive has worked intermittently for some time, but has gotten much worse in the last 2 days. In manual mode when I move the X and Y around to different spots on the table the Z will work in some spots but not others. It's pretty much the same in auto. Also, when the z does not work the DROs in Mach will climb and fall with no Z movement. Another odd observation. Sometimes in manual mode when I move the Y...the Z also moves. I've gone thu all connections to make sure they are clean and tight. Does anyone know where to start trouble shooting this? Thanks, Ted  |
