CNC plasma help

I have a Plasma table that has been cutting good for a while now but my computer’s mother board died. I took the backup CD that I was given when I bought the table and installed everything on my home computer. It is a 2GH processor with 512 RAM. Now my cuts do not look good, it is like the speed is off on the table, also I paused a job to check the quality of my cuts when I started back the program was off. I moved the torch home and home was off in both X and Y. I am in the process of installing my old hard drive in a computer that a friend gave me that had a bad hard drive. I know i will have to reinstall XP. Any other ideas would be welcome. I am using Mach3 and a MP3000 ATHC.

If you hit the Estop to pause, then Mach usually gets defuggled for restart.
See if you can get your old XML files to reset Mach. It sounds like you might be running with "exact stop" enabled. Find "constant velocity" enable it, but don't enable the CV features. Also set "line read ahead' to 100-200 lines
