I just purchase a TD SL100 Machine Torch and received two shield caps. The 9-8245 Machine cap was installed, and the 9-8243 Deflector cap was in a bag. I can't find any information in the torch manual on when to use one vs. the other. The parts page also shows a 9-8224 Ohmic clip, and again there is no information on what its purpose is.  |
