I'm hooking one up for a customer and I want to know what setting work best with it. I very familiar with hyperthem but the thermal dynamics seems to cut alot differnt. Specifically: Whats the best peirce and cut heights? What the best voltage and speeds to use with various thickness steel? I've seen the suggested setting in the manual but they didn't seem right. I had alot of problems with the arc wavering and giving a saw tooth edge. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks |

http://thermadyne.com/IM_Uploads/DocLib_2235_0-4961.pdf It could be you are not feeding fast enough and the arc is hunting for material. Also do not use "exact stop " in Mach3 unless you have to maintain very sharp corners. Mike |
