Hi, Can any point me inn the direction of websites or bokks etc to build cnc machines. I am looking to build a cnc plasma cutter/router and need to know what to use. Need advice basically on everything from Computer, step Motors/ servos, BOB, Drivers, Powersupplies, MPG's and buiding and construction.

Would be much appreciated. Cheers Ron.

Sir,

I have always found it very informative to see how other successful machines are built. In that area, commercial machines have been used extensively so they offer good examples of decent mechanical designs. I'd be a bit skeptical of some one-off home built machines; if the original builder were to make a second machine, likely it would be very different from his first (not well thought-out) try.
