I'm looking for any material that's around 1/8" thick or so that's FLEXIBLE to make some plasma templates out of. I need to cut some parts free hand on a round tube and want to make some templates that can bend easily and not burn up. Any help is appreciated, thanks. |

| I have used everything from carboard to PVC pipe (slides over the tube to be cut) as templates. If you use a shielded plasma torch (Hypertherm) there will be very little heat imparted on the templet. Move the template immediately after cutting so that heat from the metal that was just cut does not damage or melt it. Jim Colt |
