Newbie- 1 or 2 switch z home axis with thc and mach3?

First....sorry for my bad english.

I've buy a thc301d (torch height control) from Texasmicrocircuit ex Sound logics for my new cnc plasma machine.

I've read from manual that the torch go down to piece before start cut to active one swicth that read 0 surface material quote. On my floating head i can mount this swicth but i have confusion with switch z home that i need positioned a quote height for example at 60 mm up of 0 point. This is necessary for first operation machine start (refer all axis).

My question is: I must have this 2 swtich? How i can setting in mach 3? Or i can use only one of this (this mounted on torch) but disable z axis during initial operation of refer all axis?
