OK so I'm redoing the floating head on my table with hopefully a quality sliding rail with a stop on the bottom and the switch at the top. Can anybody point me in the direction of where I can buy the parts to construct this? I'm basically wanting to emulate this ![]() MVI_0023.flv video by bigtoy302 - Photobucket I built my first one on the mega cheap with a ballbearing rail from a drawer slide. :/.. Worked but I want better now. If somebody know where I can buy one that has a torch older too I'd be very pleased .Thanks. |

| What's shown above is just a small length of precision linear rail 15 or 20 MM & a bearing cartrige to fit. Then the torch holder is machined from aluminum & most likely clamped to the rail. Here is an entire assembly made by K2 listed on Ebay K2 CNC Plasma Float Head - 6" Plasma CNC Z Axis. - eBay (item 380275890533 end time Oct-15-10 01:08:01 PDT)
