as i discovered with stainless, some grades cut better than others. In general the sheet stock grade (321 i believe?) left a pretty nasty edge compared to 304. i have a job coming up in aluminum and i haven't cut that yet. What grade would you recommend? its going to be 1/8" sheeting. choices being 1100 5052 (says easy to weld according to McMaster) 6061 |
