I intend to cut out Names in 1 " MDF. I am using a Kress 800 but not sure of what bit to use or feed rates, plunge rate, pass depth , spindle speed etc.
The letters will be 12" and 6" in height (joined). Any takers ?

3/8 compression spiral, 0.015 chip load, 75% of that for a full depth cut (I always use 2 passes).
