Spindle Encoder position

Hi

I would like to know about Spindle Encoder Position. It goes as follows -

Assuming to be in front of the Door of a VMC, when i command orientation in Minus (say -1024 pulses) the spindle orientates towards 90 degree in a counterclockwise direction.

But when i command in Plus ( say 1024 pulses ) than the spindle orientates towards 90 degree in a clockwise direction.

Can anyone check & confirm how it is configured in their machine & how the Spindle encoder orients when Positive & Negative value is commanded.
