| Hi! i have a newbie question. I'm planing to buy 2006 MasterWood Cam-Wood, Project 315 for 30'000 and i'm afraid to spend my money on wrong thing. I'm operating a 2500sq/feet kitchen cabinets wood shop and want to do nesting, cut mdf doors and make my job easier. So here are the questions: is that machine worth to buy for this money (bank took for nonpayments), is it reliable, easy to operate - program, is it a good brand? i also consider 2006 CAM TECH [RM2] 2003 BIESSE ROVER 24 Thank you Last edited by alexmoulding; 10-08-2009 at 05:06 PM. |

Hello Alex and happy new year Well you have a lot of questions. I have a used masterwood 3.20 (Yom2000) and a shop for kitchen furnitures doors and wardrobes. I did bought my machine the March of the last year, directly from Germany with no middleman in buying. 1.During the instalation my technician told me that is a very good machine. It has excelent parts like its main router HSD(Italy), servodrives of Yaskawa (Japan) ... He didnt tell me the same about Biesse if i am not wrong and he has nothing to do with Masterwood (he only does service in CNC machines of different companies). So i consider that if the machine is in good condition dont be afraid the mechanical part, its excellent. 2.Your ability to handle a machine like this is for me the 70% of the success or the ... I have hear about very big and expencive machines wich are sitting and i have see small and old machines make great thinks. Its more up to you but to the machine. You are in Canada, so the 30000 is $ and the machine is of 2006? Its very little money. 3.In my workshop i make parts of kitchen cabinets and it looks very easy to me. The machine has on two programs one great for holes and another most difficult for everything else (including holes). Your abilities and Knowlege in geometry is the only think you need, Everything else coming empirical. Sorry but i cant help you with camtech, but with MW i can help afterwards too. Vangelis |
