Someone should try this method and check if it converges in 3 iterations! Spanner and hammer method would require a lot of skill. |

| Hi sinha_nsit Hoss has placed a video of the probe he has developed as a pugin for Mach3. This gives a clear indication of the time taken which is obviously machine speed / accuracy dictated by the drive motors. Look at post 738 in thread:- http://www.cnczone.com/forums/showth...=30385&page=62 Any ref to spanner and hammer relates only to the initial setting of the 'Z' axis and the adjustment of the vice jaws to line up with the 'X' axis motion. Even this takes longer to describe than to carry out as shown in the MIT video. Regards Pat |
