| Sensor slot missing is problem i think with sensor which is by spindle and which checks is the spindle down or up and program ended with tpo is maybe missing POFF on the end of spindle programing. Send a program in question to look at it EDIT: no, it not POFF...I think in program you didnt choose electrospindle, usually TP=1 Last edited by majstor76; 07-14-2009 at 03:11 AM. |

| Behind your router (electrospindle) there is an aluminum bar with either 3 or 4 sensors on it - depends on the model of machine)...if you are getting the error at the beginnning of the routing within the program...physically check to see if the sensor is lit in the down position of the router...if the error is at the end of the program check to see if the sensor is lit in the up position...if while trying to execute a tool change check to see if one of the middle sensors is lit. Also check the program to insure there is a L=POFF at the end ( the red light icon). Email me at ntek1@aol.com if any problems. Mark Tomlin www.cnccustomservices.com |

| thank you for the reply. the program does have L=POFF at the end and we only get the message when the cnc is stopped because of other porblems. i looked at the lights on the sensors and only the top one is lit. is there a program that will allow me to check the sensors? if so how do i use it? sorry i am very new at this stuff. sorry, when the router is in the down position the sensor light directly below the top sensor is lit up. still get an error message saying slot tol-present sensor lacking. | Checking the sensors starts to become involved. You need to know when the machine needs to "see" which sensor. On your control there is a PLC debug screen which lets you determine if the sensor is being "seen" by the PLC. You will need to determine what module inputs your sensors are wired to through the electrical schematics. As for your original issue, as someone had posted...insure you select a router on the process start (green light) window..also insure you selected a tool name that is exactly like the tool is described in the tooling data.
