Need Advice on CNC machnines

Hey Everyone, we are looking at an alternate business option in india where we would like to install CNC machines for making intricate stone sculptures of indian gods and godesses and also help sculptors in production of their designs. The sizes could vary from 9" to 1.2 mts in ht. Also would it be pssible to work on wood, glass using the same machine. Pls advice us what machines would be suitable and if we could get a used machine to start of with.

These machines may be quite expensive but a least an idea is given on what is out there.

You might want to look at a Haas CNC Router. Very easy to use and maintain.,

Check out Haas, they now have a sales office in India, and they are good machines for little outlay in cost.

In addition their control is very user friendly.

I am building a engraver for my clockmaking.Using lineair slides and ball spindels looks for me the best.The electronics I bought from Probotix.I intend to use EMC 2 .Working on a Linux OS (Ubuntu8.10) is very nice.
