Hello, my name is Justin and I'm a complete n00b when it comes to CNC machining, I came across these wonderful machines when I decided I needed something to help me make my miniature skateboards faster! I was looking to purchase a small cnc mill, either a Taig or Sherline, but I was just wondering.. Does anyone own a CNC mill (or lathe) machine that lives in Illinois? I would love to be able to look at one in action before I purchase my first machine! I live in a south suburb of Chicago and I would be more than happy to take you out to lunch and everything if you can just spare some time to talk to me and show me how the machine(s) work!
