Need helical connector for Rover 20 head | | Hi all, new here.
I'm helping my boss open a small cabinet shop outside of Charlotte, NC. We purchased a Biesse Rover 20 through X-Factory (who we hate now, con-artists). The problem is that the side-boring drill heads are not functioning, apparently there is some sort of helical connector that couples the drill bore head to the main head, they are made of a soft metal and they break when too much load is put on the drill head. They are a safety , they break instead of the drill head itself.
An insider at Biesse told us we could get them from a company in California for a fraction of the cost that Biesse would charge us. I guess it's the company that makes them for Biesse but you can get them direct from them instead of paying Biesse.
I've done a couple of searches in the forum's here and on the net as a whole and couldn't find anything. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
