Question wht is the role of axis motors

will axis motors play any role in cnc
hass machine weight is 3357 kg and it's max weight on table is 1361 kg. Model VF-1
In Campro case, the machine weight is 3300 kg, but the table load capacity is only 300 kg.
    Why is this?

Axis motors have to be sized according to the demands required by the mechanism they are attached to and to the acceleration demands placed on the them.
But in this instance I would guess that the lower capacity one does not have the structrural strength in the table and mechanism to carry the same load as the Haas.

this is reply i got from a designer who woring in company like makino and mori seiki what do u say for this

Haas Machine has a weight of 3357 KG, I agree, but 1361 KG is too heavy weight for a base of machine. This 3357Kg includes weight of Column, Spindle head & electrical panel & ATC. So the weight of machine bed side alone will be around 1800Kg, If on this 1800Kg a moving mass of 1300 Kg is loaded there will be insufficient rigidity and surely deflection of casting.
The machine feature shows this weight but practically its unlikely to work well in this weight.
if u see Haas has motors common for upto model of VF4, Most likely this is to reduce cost for them so that their volume of one type of motor increases and their power to negotiate with supplier improves.
The high power axis motor for small machine will cause more damage to machine in case of accident due to wrong programming. This is because the motor will trip much later.
The Axis thrust load for 1300 Kg weight is 11000NM, for 300kg weight the Motor used in Campro has an thrust of 4800 NM. Which clearly shows that our machine can take much higher weight like 600 Kg but we donot wish to specify that as we concerned about long term performance and also we promise less and deliver more.

The density of Steel is 0.00785 kg/ cc.
Even if I take a solid steel block of dimension 500mm X 400mm X 300mm. (Normally nobody will load a steel block bigger than this on a small machine )

The weight of such a block will be 471 KG. Hence it is practically impossible to load a weight of 1300 KG.
We can assure you that our machine is very well designed for load and our machine will deliver more than the specification.

wht do u say for this

    waiting for ur reply

    Thanks & Best regards
