lots of fanuc controls don t like to have the tool nuber and the m6 on the same line , can this be the problem

Only the old ones 1987 and earlier Dertsap. The new ones take it in one line.

Ooops! correction to that statement; the Fanuc 0 series 1990 and earlier won't take T1M6 in on line. It really all depends on the machine builder. I don't even know if Ikegai is still around. I'll do a quick search

we have a couple newer ones and they don t seem to like it , may be a machine manufacturer call , they all seem to have their own idea of how to setup those controllers

Do a search on Google for your machine like This "Ikegai TV-4 Fanuc 0M 1991"

Thank you both for your help extended. Google search i have already done . yet i have not got any proper information.

Actually on machine when only e.g.m6 t1 command is given that time nothing happens. no movement nothing. no alarm. Its surprising.

Hi,
Do you have the Circuit Diagram?
if you have it, is really easy see where is the problem, search the address M06 Fin or Tool Change.
