| x-axis drifts to the right??? Not sure if this is the right section perhaps the software section but here goes anyway. Bought a new Liberty cnc lathe about a month ago and having a problem solved all but one last problem. Does anyone know what would cause the cutting tool to drift slightly more to the right after each pass. After each pass it starts farther away from the original home position. I'm out of ideas. thanks, dh |

| well according to the maker it seems to be 1 of 2 possible problems. first is something called the polling pulse in window, it is supposed to be set to "off". The other possibilility is RF interference from the environment, this would require installing a microferric capacitor. Maybe it's the pulsing problem, If anyone knows what or where to find that I would appreciate the info. . thanks, dh |
