ROVER 20+ROVER18 VS BIESSEWORKS Convert CNC Programs

    Hello Everybody,

We now ordered 2 machines of BIESSE,
ROVER A 1332 EDGE and BREMA EKO 902
The new machines work with the software "BIESSE WORKS ".

    Professional questiones:
Is there a way to convert our (thousands) old cnc programs that was copy from the ROVER18 and the ROVER 20, to one format that will work with the new "BIEESEWORKS" software?

    Is it complicated?
    What is the process?
It`s crazy to build the all programs from zero...

    Thanks you all

    Erez

Dont think it is possible. The new machines use a different controller. We have an older Biesse
Rover321 and can not use the same files over on our newer RoverG.

ROVER 20 to BREMA EKO 902

    Hi John

I did make an script in C# that convert ROVER 20 program to BREMA EKO 902 CNC program.

The G-CODE Very similar the change only it the parameters names

I might point out that it`s better re-write the program in an orderly manner

    Good Luck

Biesse have a software called RT480 converter, this software converts RT480 programs to WRT, new Biesse machines uses Biesseworks to edit programs, but the machines runs in WRT. so theoretically Biesseworks just creates a .bpp which is actually like a CAD file and internally it is being postprocessed to WRT.
ask the Biesse seller for his software.
