I am about to pickup a used machine and am torn between the following:

(1) 1985 Kitamura MyCenter-4, 6000rpm, 40x20x22 travel, Fanuc Control - $14k

(2) 1999 Bridgeport VMC1000/22, 6000rpm, 20x20x20 travel, DX-32 COntrol - $12k

(3) 1989 Fadal VMC15, 7500rpm, 20x16x10 travel - $14k

I am a hobbyist who will be working mostly on aluminum parts, and am looking at the machines from the perspective of:

- value
- quality
- re-sale (if i dont use it much)
- easy to use, fix and maintain
- parts/service availability

Any feedback is appreciated.
